A pastor shared with me how a woman was driving with her windows all closed and doors all locked, as she approached a somewhat remote traffic intersection nearby.
She saw a beggar on the side of the road but her slowing down for the intersection placed him near her passenger side-door. As she stopped, he was suddenly sitting next to her, with all his shaggy clothes. Needless to say she was alarmed, but she kept her nerve until he reached out, almost touched her face and said, "That is how close you are to the return of Jesus." Then he was gone - as though he had never been there.
She came to a police roadblock further along the road, but was still so visibly shaken that the officer asked after her. When she explained, he said, "This is the 10th time that has happened today".
Now you judge - what is happening? With another economic wave hitting us as a result of The Greek Contagion, major upheavels in the earth, freek weather patterns - are we indeed near the end - is the system starting to crack under the strain? Is the kingdom of God a hand?
