Somehow I found that one person out there who was somehow better connected to a lot of other people I have known and loved along my life journeys. It was a wonderfully refreshing journey to then work that thread to see faces I had forgotten and read up on people I had lost touch with. Strange how life takes so much away from us through the years, but how delightful to find a way back again.This all got me thinking that maybe there is a secret key to all relationships, which then brought me to the reality that through one man I am now part of a universal family, drawn from every tribe and nation.
It extends beyond the living too, for through that same man I also have much to look forward to beyond the grave, when I will meet Abraham, Moses, David, Jacob, Ruth, Rebekah, Luther, Paul and so many other great figures of the past - all of whom fill the stadiums above and rise to cheer us along the last few, tough miles of our journey from here to glory.

Thanks to Him, I have met strangers who were instantly friends and friends who became closer than brothers or sisters. That said, the same Jesus reconciled me to all my closest - to my Dad, my siblings, my wife and children and all that extend from them. Wow, what a kingdom, what a king.
